It has recently changed hands, and when we tried to book this time, you had to stay a minimum of two nights and although we like Peniscola, it’s a small place and we feel that one night is enough.

This time we stayed at Pension Chiki. It’s located centrally in the old town, and is a restaurant with a guest house attached. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the owner was very friendly.

There are quite a lot of restaurants in Peñíscola but we haven’t found anywhere yet that we like enough to go back to. We struggled to find somewhere to have our main meal, finally settling on La Lanterna Italian which was very popular. The service was very friendly, but the food extremely average.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.9.7″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”1px|||||”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.9.7″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”0px|||||”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.7″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_blurb title=”Boca Cielo” image=”https://traveljimmy.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/bocacielo.jpg” alt=”Boca Cielo Peniscola” _builder_version=”4.9.7″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ body_font=”Lato||||||||” body_font_size=”16px” sticky_enabled=”0″]

We did find a lovely cute bar called Boca Cielo and enjoyed a nice plate of nachos and a glass of cava there. Most people seemed to be just having drinks, but they do some other snacks like burritos and patatas bravas.

[/et_pb_blurb][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

[3

post-399","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-travel
["GET
